"What are the objectives of APP-13 S-2"?
The objectives of APP-13 S-2 are to ensure time-saving and accurate performance tests of your winning products and to offload your organisation the work of keeping the performance test site for your software product updated and functioning between recurring regression test projects of performance.
What is included in APP-13 S-2?
The service APP-13 S-2 has two steps:
1. Before a new regression test project is started, the following is investigated and corrected:

Changes to test site's SUT configurations regarding:
-
Changes to SUT hardware configurations, such as:
-
Changed servers, or number of servers.
-
Changes to memory size or speed on servers
-
Storage requirements and types on servers
-
Changes to connections on SUT servers.
-
Port numbers etc. on SUT servers.
-

Changes to operating system, databases, and middleware on SUT servers.
-
Changes to scripting languages, such as PHP, Python, etc. on SUT servers.
-
Changes to application versions on SUT servers.
-

Changes to test site's infra structure regarding:

Changes to communication between SUT servers.
-
Changes to communication between SUT and Test Tool servers.
-
Changes to infra structure equipment regarding:
-
Changes to switches.
-
Changes to routers.
-

Changes to test site's test tool configurations regarding:

Changes to test tool hardware configurations, such as:

What can be added to APP-13 S-2?
The service can be expanded with APP-13 S-1: "Ensure a reliable reuse of your MBCtest cases" to a full APP 13: "Ensure high performance requirements continuously" project.
